Here’s a misty sunrise over Bridgnorth, with St Leonard's Church rising above a blanket of white.

In the distance is Titterstone Clee, which is about 12 miles away as the crow flies.

St Leonard’s was declared redundant in 1976, but it has lost none of its power to impress.

The sheer size of its interior is breathtaking - the width of the nave and aisles together is not much less than that of St Paul's Cathedral in London.

This was my view from the top of High Rock, and I could tell I was the first person to walk up there that morning because I had to brush aside the cobwebs strung across the path.

What a great way to start the day.
