Out of this world - here’s moonrise over the radar domes on the summit of Titterstone Clee.

Dramatic Snow Moon over Titterstone Clee

It looks like something out of a science fiction film, but this was the so-called Snow Moon which is the last full moon of winter.

The name reflects the fact that it often snows in February, just before the season changes and spring makes an appearance.

At first the moon was obscured by clouds, but after a 15-minute wait it finally appeared in the sky and I was able to get my shot.
